Living in on-campus accommodation at Deakin is an ideal choice for students moving to Australia. Every Deakin campus has safe, affordable and clean accommodation that provides easy access to classes and the library.
For Trimester 2, 2023, Deakin Residential Services is giving priority to international students. On-campus accommodation must be applied for, and full payment made by 31 May for students to secure a spot. Please note that there may not be capacity on all campuses for all students, and offers are on a first come first served basis.
Applications for Trimester 2 accommodation open on 3 April, 2023.
We recommend you to accept your offer to study at Deakin as soon as possible. You can then apply for accommodation on 1 April and start planning their move to Australia.
Living in Residence gives students the opportunity to meet other students from around the world and make life-long friends. Last year, almost 25% of students living on campus were international. They came from 43 different countries. Typically in each intake, student residents come from more than 15 countries.
